Please join us as we gather to celebrate and remember the life of Jan Tennyson, a beloved mother, grandmother, aunt, author, speaker, and tireless encourager whose life reflected faith, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to helping others dare to dream. Jan's journey was one of triumph over adversity. From her early years in foster care to a lifetime spent inspiring others through music, writing, ministry, and service, she devoted more than three decades to encouraging abused, neglected, and at-risk children through the Dare to Dream Children's Foundation. Her passion was to ignite hope and purpose in the hearts of others, and her influence reached far beyond Dallas, touching lives across the country and around the world. A gifted pianist, choreographer, and speaker, Jan used her talents to uplift and challenge people to live lives of faith, courage, and fulfillment. She was known for her strong love of God and country, her joyful spirit, and her ability to bring out the best in everyone she met. We invite friends, family, and all whose lives were impacted by Jan to join us in honoring her remarkable life and enduring legacy. Your presence will mean so much as we remember a woman who dared to dream, and helped countless others do the same

INSPIRING HOPE TO PEOPLE IN TRAGIC SITUATIONS
LIVING ON THE STREETS, IN GROUP HOMES, SHELTERS,
DETENTION CENTERS AND ORPHANAGES

since 1987 - over 37 years of service

Dallas County Commissioner's Court.

Over the years, Dare to Dream has recruited and trained hundreds of volunteers to educate, inspire, and mentor wounded youth in group homes, shelters, orphanages, and detention centers. Our programs are designed to help meet the emotional and spiritual needs of at-risk youth to overcome drug and alcohol abuse, juvenile delinquency, and teen pregnancy, all of which causes child abuse, school drop-outs, and teen suicide.

The breakdown of family values, fatherless homes, and the drug culture has contributed to the sad moral fiber of our young people. These are the fathers and mothers of tomorrow. They are the hope of our next generation. Please stand with us to champion these leaders of tomorrow.

Independent Charities Seal of Excellence was awarded to Dare to Dream Children's Foundation as one of the Best in America. The members of Independent Charities of America and Local Independent Charities of America have, upon rigorous independent review, been able to certify, document, and demonstrate on an annual basis that they meet the highest standards of public accountability, program effectiveness, and cost effectiveness.
