WHAT OTHERS ARE SAYING

As a police officer for over 26 years who worked with teens for the majority of those; I saw first-hand the destruction and devastation that broken homes and the decaying culture causes in the lives of America's youth. Tragically, because of these factors and their own rebellion, many of them are headed for a life dominated by alcohol, drugs, perpetual incarceration and in many cases a premature death.

Dare To Dream meets these broken young people at their point of need and impacts their lives by educating, encouraging, mentoring and giving them spiritual guidance. Dare to Dream gives help where it's needed and hope where there is none. Rick Moore, Retired Police Officer - Missionary

I learned how to be the best gangster I could be. The life of a gangster cost me so much. I lost relationships, I lost time, I lost self respect, I lost sensitivity for my fellow man. But then I learned of God’s love toward me. I earned nothing; He paid the price for me on the Cross at Calvary. I return praise and response to his grace toward me by volunteering with Dare to Dream. The boys and girls say that they benefit from hearing my testimony, yet it is I who benefit for sharing my time with them. He restored relationships, time, self respect and the love of my fellowman. Gene Little, Volunteer

The Dare to Dream volunteers are making an incredible impact on the lives of youth. Just after hearing the testimony of one of our volunteers, approximately 25-30 boys gave their lives to Christ for the first time. Pam Bolton

I had another victory for the Kingdom at the youth center. Fifteen young men prayed the prayer of salvation for the first time. Praise the Lord for the opportunity to bring a message of hope and eternal value to any who may not have responded in a different setting. Bill Kushner

We had an awesome time tonight at the youth facility! There were seven young men who want to get baptized! All except one boy out of 19 rededicated their lives to Christ! Eric Callaway

As I was circling the room at the youth shelter to introduce myself, one of the girls said, " I want to know how to get saved; I'm tired of the devil messing with me!" I led her through a prayer to invite Christ into her life. It was awesome! Dare to Dream is such a blessing and such a testimony of how God restores and never allows suffering to go to waste. Kay Jones

I really had a good experience at the youth center last night. I was amazed at the openness of these kids. In my mind, I was going to find them very rebellious with a frown on their face, but on the contrary they were very courteous, and teachable. In fact, I think I learned more from them than they did from me. I also perceived a hunger for the Word of God. Dr.Jose Luis Mejia

We are truly blessed every time we participate in a Dare to Dream event. Last night I filled in as team Captain at the shelter and the Holy Spirit moved in that place! The volunteers and I were just in awe of God! When we arrived, the Supervisor of that facility was very concerned about the hostility of the kids, and told us that we probably were not going to be able to stay the whole visit. The kids had been very irritated and rebellious all day, and the Police had been called out to the facility twice. They were concerned for our safety. We walked in and claimed that facility Holy unto GOD, and the Spirit fell upon not only the children but also the staff. We had a peaceful, joyful, loving time in the Lord. We as volunteers were moved by the power of GOD and were all truly blessed and continue to be strengthened in our faith. Shirley Kaczak

Jan, this organization you have founded is a GOD institution, and I am honored to be a part of this group. Each time I attend an event I leave hungrier for the Gospel. Eric Callaway

Jan, thank you for being such an inspiration to so many kids and to me. You dared me to dream! Niki Breeser Tschirgi
